About the role
ATeam Care Services has an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Caregiver in Northern Adelaide. The NDIS Partners in the Community Program for Caregiver Services works in partnership with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to assist people with disability, their families and carers to achieve tangible outcomes, exercise choice and control and engage with the National Disability Insurance Schemes (NDIS).
About You
Working with Children Check clearance
National Criminal History Check clearance
Have a full valid driver’s license
Be able to work flexibly to potentially include after-hours and weekends
Be willing to travel within and between if require
A minimum of 12 months lived experience of disability and/or work experience in the community services sector
Possess good skills at navigating a complex organisation, forging relationships, and managing through influence
Age Care certificate III or IV
Asist in Nurse AN, Enrol Nurse (EN) and Registered Nurse (RN)
Key Responsibilities
Taking care of household activities such as grocery shopping, preparing meals, cleaning, and managing finances.
Helping with activities of daily living such as bathing and dressing.
Managing medical care including maintaining medical records and administering or monitoring medication.
Watching for signs and symptoms of HE progression, side effects of medication, and generally monitoring your loved one’s health condition.

Purpose

Verification is for all providers (excluding government entities) delivering lower risk, lower complexity supports and services only. The Code of Conduct applies to all workers and service providers delivering NDIS supports or services, including employees, contractors and volunteers.
